Who pays for this
Self-funded. No vendor on this site has paid for, sponsored, reviewed or been shown its entry before publication.
This matters more here than on most sites. A registry that promises to publish no verdict is worth nothing if a vendor can buy one, so the absence of a buyer is part of the disclosure rather than a footnote to it.
What this site is, legally speaking
A record of what vendors have published about themselves, each entry carrying the page it was taken from and the date it was read. It is not legal advice, not an audit, not a certification, and not a compliance verdict — see Method for what that rules out in practice. Whether a given vendor suits a given use is a question about your use, and this site does not answer it.
Other people's material
Vendor names and marks belong to their owners and appear here to identify the subject of an entry, which is what trade mark law allows them to be used for. Quotations from vendor documents are kept to what is needed to show what was said. Where we have read a document, we link to it rather than republish it.
If you believe something here is wrong, the correction route is contact. A correction backed by a page we can read is applied as a new dated observation, usually the same week.
Links out
Every source link leaves this site. We read those pages on the dates shown and have no control over what they say afterwards; the observation records what was there when we looked, which is the whole point of dating it.
